Pride Week

Gilmore Community School is proud to celebrate Gilmore Pride Week, a time dedicated to fostering inclusion, diversity, and a sense of belonging for all students, families and staff. Throughout the week, staff and students will take part in meaningful activities such as a Pride Flag raising, colour day, a parade and assembly, and classroom discussions. These events encourage students to express what makes them proud, learn about the importance of acceptance, and celebrate the unique identities within our school community. The week also features opportunities for students to share their voices and reflect on their achievements together.

Key Dates to keep in Mind:

Tuesday, June 2nd – Colour Day, wear as much of your favourite colour as possible

Wednesday, June 3rd – Gilmore Pride Day, dress in what makes you proud!  This could be your sports team, a representation of your culture, rainbows, or Grizzly Gear.  The point is to be proud of who you are!  Parade and assembly following recess.

We look forward to a joyful and supportive week that highlights the values of respect and community spirit at Gilmore.

All staff and students will participate in Gilmore Pride Day, if at school.
